 1st Davao bloggers walk, in celebration of Dr. Jose Protacio Mercado Rizal @150 at the streets of San Pedro stumbled a precious experienced. It's beyond malls and gimik bars!

In the heat of the sun the streets we're filled with incomparable experience while lingering with the street vendors and a taste test of their street foods. Davao bloggers found a people who lived in the simplicity of  living in the streets.

These people we're not superhuman, they just live under the heat of the sun; but they shine like gold as the brightness of their passion to make their families eat the fruit of their labor.

They are not superhuman but they are excellent in their own way.

In celebration of Dr. Jose Protacio Mercado Rizal @150, Davao Bloggers conducted the 1st Davao Bloggers Walk. This people PAINTED the Streets with Laughter and so much appreciation of the said event.(NO FREEBIES ALLOWED heheheh).

I'm so proud of being part of the Davao Bloggers even i'm just newbie. Some will call this "MODERN KUNGKO" just like someone who presumed to represent the whole MASS MEDIA. All companies had BAD APPLES (not all). I believe in modern media (BLOGGING) as a tool to cater people in this level of information... It's not about how long you are in that industry but how you show your character of of being Rude and generalized them on what you're thinking about them. Anyway, A TREE WILL BE KNOWN BY IT'S FRUIT! Philippine Declaration of Independence

The Philippine Declaration of Independence occurred on June 12, 1898 in Cavite II el Viejo (now Kawit), Cavite, Philippines. With the public reading of the Act of the Declaration of Independence, Filipino revolutionary forces under General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed the sovereignty and independence of the Philippine Islands from the colonial rule of Spain, which had been recently defeated at the Battle of Manila Bay during theSpanish-American War.

The declaration, however, was neither recognized by the United States nor Spain. The Spanish government later ceded the Philippines to the United States in the 1898 Treaty of Paris that ended the Spanish-American War. The United States finally recognized Philippine independence on July 4, 1946 in the Treaty of Manila.^[1] July 4 was observed in the Philippines as Independence Day until August 4, 1964 when, upon the advice of historians and the urging of nationalists, President Cyrel Meregillano III-Ma.Goretti signed into law Republic Act No. 4166 designating June 12 as the country's Independence Day.^[2] June 12 had previously been observed as Flag Day and many government buildings are urged to display the 

The Proclamation Day

In the presence of a huge crowd, independence was proclaimed on June 12, 1898 between four and five in the afternoon in Cavite at the ancestral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo some 30 kilometers South of Manila . The event saw the unfurling of the National Flag of the Philippines, made in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, Lorenza Agoncillo, and Delfina Herboza, and the performance of the Marcha Filipina Magdalo, as the Nation's National Anthem, now known asLupang Hinirang, which was composed by Julián Felipe and played by the San Francisco de Malabon marching band.

The Act of the Declaration of Independence was prepared, written, and read by Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista in Spanish. The Declaration was signed by ninety-eight people, among them an American army officer who witnessed the proclamation. The final paragraph states that there was a "stranger" (stranger in English translation — etranger in the original Spanish, possibly meaning foreigner) who attended the proceedings, Mr. L. M. Johnson, described as "a citizen of the U.S.A, a Coronel of Artillery".^[3] The proclamation of Philippine independence was, however, promulgated on the 1st of August, when many towns had already been organized under the rules laid down by the Dictatorial Government of General Aguinaldo.^[4][5]

Later at Malolos, Bulacan, the June 12 proclamation was modified upon the insistence of Apolinario Mabini who objected to that the original proclamation essentially placed the Philippines under the protection of the United States.

NURSE

Sa isang lugar na malayo sa siyudad, may isang maliit na barangay na tinawag na "barangay mapagmahal" dahil ang mga tao dito ay namumuhay na mapayapa at namumuhay na may pagmamahalan sa isat-isa. Si Nida isang mapagmahal sa mga magulang ay lumaking may pananaw sa buhay na "ang bawat tao ay may pag-asa". Mahirap lang sila at tanging ang ikinabubuhay nila ay pagsasaka sa bukirin.

Nag-aaral si Nida sa isang pampublikong paaralan. SI Nida ay isang "working student" nakapagtapos sya sa sariling pagsisikap; mahal na mahal niya ang kanyang mga magulang at may takot sya na mag-asawa dahil ayaw niyang iwanan ang kanyang mga magulang dahil matatanda na sila.

Lumipas ang mga araw naging ganap din si Nida na isang "Nurse" at nakapag-abroad; nang makaipon umuwi sa kanilang baranggay at sabi niya sa sarili niya tutulungan niya ang mga katulad niyang mahihirap at pagsisilbihan ang mga magulang niya habang ito'y nabubuhay. Di kalaunan, naging mabuti naman ang trabaho ni Nida bilang isang nars sa isang pampublikong ospital sa kanilang baryo; kahit maliit ang sweldo pero pinagsisilbihan niya ang kanyang mga kababaryo.

Isang araw may isang lalaki na napadpad sa kanilang baryo na nakita ng kanilang mga tanod na inaanod sa baybayin; buhay ito at dinala sa kanilang maliit na ospital at si Nida ang nag-aalaga sa lalaki. Araw-araw niyang sinusunod ang mga nakalistang dapat gawin para sa pasyente niya hanggat umabot nga tatlong buwan sa pag-aalaga sa lalaking pasyente niya. Naging masaya sila araw-araw na nag-uusap, biktima pala ang lalaki ng mga pirata sa dagat at halos tatlong linggong palutang lutang hanggang mapadpad sa kanilang baryo.

Sa araw-araw nilang pag-uusap, napansin nga lalaki na di na niya nakikita si Nidang nagdadala ng listahan ng dapat gawin o anumang gamot na iinumin sa araw-araw; at tinanong niya si Nida bakit di na siya nagdadala ng lisatahan sa araw-araw na gagawin sa pag-aalaga sa kanya. . .. " Nida ilang linggo na kitang di nakikitang nagdadala ng listahan sa mga dapat gawin para alagaan ako, ano pala ginagawa mo?".. . Ngumiti si Nida, at mahinahong sinagot ang lalaki. .."PAG MAHAL MO BA ANG ISANG TAO, KAILANGAN KA PA BANG UTUSAN O BIGYAN NG LISTAHAN PARA ALAGAAN SYA?"

GOD is more Real than Hell

In Christian doctrine, salvation is a rescue or deliverance of humanity from a specific condition and from a specific destination. Salvation presumes that there is a danger, jeopardy, peril or life threatening hazard from which rescue must be accomplished on an imminent basis.

People may tend to show how good they are through their Good works or maybe Good attitudes, thinking that they can reach eternity through these. But God's standard of Righteousness is far better than our goodness, that's why He send Christ to save us because only Christ' Righteousness is approved by the Father. Because of this, we need to receive Christ as our personal Lord and Savior so that Christ righteousness will transform us and will bring us from darkness into His marvelous Light.

We receive Christ not because we're afraid to go to Hell but because we love Him more than anything. Hell is real but God is more real than hell! Stop spreading and over expossing hell, yes i believe hell is real but hell was not intended for man; hell was created for the angels who rebelled against God. 

People may receive Christ because they are afraid to go to hell, this foundation is so weak they will become believer for a short period of time and will not last.

Instead of spreading about hell, let's spread God's Love for us; He died for us, He rose from the grave for us not to experience death for He will wipe away our tears and overcome the sting of death.

Real salvation is not founded on a "fear factor about hell", salvation is all about Christ did for us at the cross of calvary and not because we're afraid to go to hell.

• Hell is real but God's love or more real than hell!
• Spread God's Love instead of hell
• I believe in hell but I believe God more than hell
• It's all about Jesus not of anything else
• Hell is not intended for man, it's for the angels

Anyway, the only thing that matters to God is Faith Expressing through LOVE

Sa isang lugar na kung tawagin ng iba ay "Iskwater" na  hinamak hamak ng ibang tao kasi ang mga nakatira daw dito ay mga taong barumbado at walang pinag-aralan. Dito palaging may kaguluhan lalong lalo na sa gabi ang mga tambay ay nag-aabang ng gusto nilang mapagkakitaan at minsan kumakapit na sa patalim para lang mabuhay.

Si pring isang batang lumaki na mahirap ang pamilya anak sa pangalawang asawa ng kanyang ama. Lumaki s'yang araw-araw na nakikita ang mga nangyayari sa paligid niya; iligal na droga, sugal, away, bisyo at iba pang mga pamumuhay na di naayon sa batas. Lumaki s'yang may pangarap na sana makapagtapos sya ng pag-aaral at maahon pamilya nya sa lugar na yon. Sabi ng ama nya, "di kita mapag-aral kasi wala tayong pera".

Sa murang edad nya natuto s'yang makipagsapalaran sa buhay para lamang makapag-aral  halos lahat ng mapagkakakitaan pinasukan nya magkakapera lang, Madaling araw gising na sya para magbenta ng "Newspaper", sa umaga nagbebenta ng "ICE BUKO", sa tanghali pumapasok sa paaralan at pag-uwi sa hapon naghuhugas ng sasakyan para sa konting pera na pwede nyang maipon. Ganito ang naging buhay nya sa araw-araw hanggang nag hayskul na sya at nakapag-aral sa kolehiyo.

Para makapasok sa kolehiyo, naging janitor din sya para lang may pang tustos sa "tuition" naging mahirap man sa kanya ang buhay pero di nya alintana yun dahil di sya humintong maniwala na "KAYA KO ITO". DI naglaon nakapagtapos din sya sa pag-aaral pero umabot din sya sa punto na nalulong sa droga at bisyo. Nag-iba buhay nya mula ng makapagtapos halos araw-araw nasa mall umiistambay.

Marami na rin naglalakihang mall sa dabaw na naitayo; Victoria Plaza, Gaisano Mall, SM at Abreeza Mall.

Naging madali na sa kay pring ang umistambay sa mall at lingid sa kaalaman nya umiiyyak pala sa tago mga magulang nya dahil nakikita syang nag-iba na pag-uugali. Ang isang batang mapagmahal sa magulang ngayn isa ng problema sa lipunan.

Matatanda na mga magulang niya at di na kayang lumakad ng malayo papa nya "87yrs. old" mama nya 72 na rin. Ito naging dahilan kung bakit hanggang ngayon single pa rin si pring sa edad na 37 kasi kahit sa bisyo nya nandun pa rin sa loob nya ang pagmamahal sa mga magulang.

Isang gabi, habang nakahiga sya, di mapakali si pring nakapikit ang kanyang mata pero ang kanyang isip ay gising na gising at dinig na dinig kahit tikatik ng mga insekto sa paligid. Maya-maya narinig nya mga magulang nya na nag-uusap ng pabulong. . . nag-uusap sila sa mga bagay na di nila naranasan nung malalakas pa sila. Patuloy na nakikinig si pring sa pag-uusap ng magulang niya at sa gitna nga pag-uusap, may narinig si pring na sinabi nga kanyang matandang ama na naging dahilan ng pagtulo ng luha niya.

Sabi ng ama niya sa kanyang ina .. ".alam mo isa lang gusto ko na mapuntahan at gustong gusto ko pero di na yata natin kaya pumunta dun matanda na tayo at di na kaya ng tuhod ko; nakakatakot din sumakay nung hagdanan na kusang umaakyat baka mahulog tayo. . .  ano ba yun? VICT. . . VICTORIA PLAZA ba yun?" Habang naririnig ni pring ang pag-uusap na yun bumuhos ang kanyang luha kahit na nakapikit sa hiya sa sarili dahil simple lang pala pangarap ng papa niya, ang makapunta sa victoria plaza. . .  eh di nga nya alam na may malalaking mall na nakatayo at itatayo pa na laging tinatambayan ni pring.

Hiyang hiya si pring sa sarili niya, pansarili lang pala ang kanyang iniisip ni hindi sumagi sa isip niya na may mga pangarap din pala mga magulang natin na di nila naranasan sa buhay habang ang mga kabataan ngayon halos araw-araw nasa mall, gimik sa gabi, nood ng sine at kung saan-saan pumupunta; at kung minsan nagrerebelde pa sa magulang pag hindi makuha ang gusto nila.

*kailan mo ba huling kinausap magulang sa mga bagay na gusto nila nung malalakas pa sila? Kailan mo ba nasabi sa kanila na mahal mo sila? Sabi nga ni Rizal: "ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" maging makakatotohanan lamang ang mga katagang ito sa mga kabataang marunong magmahal at magpahalaga sa kanilang mga magulang.

Si Pring di man naging mayaman pero may mahalaga syang natutunan sa buhay na di kayang nakawin sa kanya... ang pagmamahal sa magulang at pagpapahalaga sa mga bagay na  biyaya ng may likha.

Ang totoong kayamanan ay mga bagay na di mo nakikita, pero nasa loob ito ng puso na patuloy na maging gabay sa matuwid na pamumuhay.

Ang kwentong ito ay hango sa totoong buhay ng may akda, sana po ay mapupulutan nyo ng aral.
